The trees and bushes are still hanging onto their colours - or they were last week, anyway. I've got several more pictures from along the trails through the trees . . . plus some harvest pictures, since Dad combined most of our wheat field last week too, before it got too wet to harvest anymore. From September 23rd: Two pictures of bushes/trees, one of the bales in our neighbour's field with our own wheat field in the foreground, and one of a pretty leaf I found... it looked a lot like a maple leaf, but it was some kind of little bush. The mountain ash tree on the 25th: From the 26th: The plum tree, starting to change colour. A stack of delicious-looking corn... one of my favourite vegetables! And a pretty big assortment of pictures throughout the trails in the trees, and some mushrooms. I know absolutely nothing when it comes to mushrooms, so I never touch any (not on purpose, anyway), I only look at them or take pictures. (I don't even like the edible ones anyway; that probably has something to do with why I've never found out which mushrooms are edible and which aren't.) Also, at the end, is a little arrangement of leaves I found. All about in the same area, they were such vivid colours. If I knew of any plants around our property that had blue leaves, I could have finished the rainbow... but I thought it was pretty with just the first four colours, too.
This is what we woke up to on the morning of the 30th. The first really heavy frost. (And the moon setting.) Yesterday afternoon, the poplar trees looked golden against the sky. And finally, just this evening, a picture of the sunset :)

I so enjoy your lovely pictures! Harvest time truly is a beautiful time of year! And the colours of the leaves, the sunsets, and the migration of birds are all such a blessing to behold. God’s creation is so awesome.
