Five different subjects out of twelve different pictures. We had the first corn of the year for supper on August 25th. As always, it was delicious! Corn is one of my favourite vegetables. There were so many flowers blooming on the 26th that I went to check them out. Tikka came with me and just couldn't handle the heat, as you can see from the way she just plopped down under the sunflowers. (And that's a real "sun"flower.) Then I picked some cherry tomatoes (another of my top favourite foods), and right after that, Tikka decided it wasn't so hot that she couldn't try to snatch a flower out of my sister's hand. The moon looked super neat on the 27th and I stood outside taking pictures until I had a good one. And I actually got a pink poppy! I thought only the red ones were going to bloom but then on the 29th my mom came and told me that there was a pink poppy out there. That evening I took another picture of the moon with some tree branches in the foreground. And finally, on the 30th, we were being watched by a couple of "guards" on the barn roof.
