Well, I got my wish! This past Wednesday we got about a foot of snow all at once. Then the wind kicked up on Thursday and Friday and blew in a ton of huge snow drifts. The field looked like oceans with all the drifts out there. Our neighbour's field looks like it's full of white sand dunes. There are some pretty big drifts across the road, too. I nearly got my car stuck in one of them this morning--that's the first time that's happened!
The pictures today consist just of the Christmas lights, the snow and drifts, a sunset . . . and one picture of fat little Ivy, just because.

I can not tell where the snowy road might be leading in the first picture, but it certainly peaked the curiosity.
