And . . . I have to back up again. All the way back to October 8th. (It's been a bit of a busy autumn.) Sun shining on the trees that morning: And that evening, we were hit with a very strong few gusts of wind. I don't think I've ever seen it so windy here in the fall before. Probably half of the leaves on the trees was blasted onto the ground in a span of maybe sixty seconds. That included all the leaves on the plum tree. (The black specks you see against the sky are the leaves.) And then I just took a picture of the eastern sky because it looked kind of pretty. Sunrise from three different angles on the morning of October 9th: And it had just rained, and all the rain clouds were in the west, so the rising sun created a rainbow in the west - something we don't see very often around here. Usually the rainbows are in the east. (Plus a terrified-looking Holly in the foreground. I do not know why she looked so freaked out...) The trees all looked pretty with the sun shining on them: I also though the sidewalk looked neat with the grass on one side, the rocks on the other side, and the leaves scattered across it: And the sun shining through some water droplets on the gate: And then while we were outside, ducks flew over. Then more ducks. Then even more ducks. And then a gaggle of geese flew by. And then another. And some more. There was a ton of groups of them coming from the west - I have no idea where they'd all been hanging out, but there were a lot of groups of ducks and geese flying over one group after another for quite some time - there were a lot of them! I took a couple pictures of a couple of the gaggles of geese. Sunset on October 11th, with the dust from the all-around harvesting going on hovering over the field: Sunrise on October 15th: And then we got a heavy frost on October 31st. It looked pretty, as always: Another note. I don't have any more pictures, but three things to mention. First, a robin stayed here until November 2nd, which is unusual. Second, there are STILL geese hanging around, which is also not very normal. I'm wondering if we're going to have a very mild winter.
And third, we got an inch and a half of snow on the morning of November 5th . . . but it started melting as soon as it stopped, and it's almost all gone by now. It was a lovely day today - it got up to 11°C that I saw - so no wonder it mostly disappeared. But this is November, so I wouldn't be surprised if snow came and stayed at any time now!

You have a wonderful memory by the way you describe your photos.
