New Job

Nobody had seen Holly yesterday morning, and when she hadn't shown up to feed her kittens by late morning, we all went looking for her and unfortunately found her dead.
We're all sad about it, but now we have a very different job that we haven't had to do before--taking care of 7

orphaned kittens. We feel bad for them, but it is pretty cute to be feeding them like this.

So sorry for those poor little kittens. You all will make great substitute moms I know.
I wonder how they will do as outdoor cats seeing they won’t have a mother to teach them how to hunt?

We're hoping their natural instinct will take over and they'll just know how to hunt. Rex just might help with that too, once he gets over his fear of them. It sounds weird, but when Dragon's mother was no longer around, Rex brought him a mouse.
On the high chance Rex doesn't do that again, the kittens' instincts should just kick in when they reach the age that they can hunt.
