Some of my poppies have opened now, and with perfect timing, because they're blooming just as my other favourite flowers - wild roses - are going out of season and dying. Actually, I think the wild roses bloomed for far longer this year than any other year I can remember, but I love them, so it was nice to have them for extra time this year! Anyway, here are the pictures I've taken over the last week. The first twelve are all from July 8th.
A couple more poppy photos from the 9th: From the 10th; a bunch of sky and sunset pictures. There were massive storms on either side of us, so that made for some interesting clouds.
And the sunset from last night (the 11th). I was driving home from town and we were all watching the sunset. My sister took a few pictures while we were on the highway, but when we got home and it still looked pretty, I got my camera and went running through the bushes to the other side so I could get a couple shots too.
