March 4th to March 8th

I've only got five photos for today, so this isn't going to take very long...
A downy woodpecker on the bird feeder on March 4th:

And right after the woodpecker, I took a picture of this. I thought it looked really neat how the sun was right behind those trees, so that the trees were silhouetted against the gray clouds.

And then yesterday morning, my brother suddenly yells, "There's moose out there!"
We all went running for the window, and sure enough, there's a couple of moose quite close to the house, wading through the asparagus.

I love the picture of the tree silhouette! The pictures of the sunsets are also very pretty. Isn’t it neat how God paints us a different sunset every time?…they are a wonder to behold! Sure nice that you got to see the moose during the day. There was one hanging around our area last week but I didn’t get to see it. Thanks for posting, Leah!

You are pretty good at educating us on the nomenclature
Of birds. Its nice to know what the name is of the bird that you post pictures of.
Your pictures may be few but are both beautiful and interesting.
How exciting to see those big animals in your back yard.
