Snow has been in the forecast on and off for the last couple of weeks and never came to pass, so I think several people were surprised when it started snowing early Friday morning. (But it's supposed to be 11°C on Monday. This is Canada, all right.) It snowed from about 6AM to 4PM yesterday, and when it stopped we had roughly 3 inches of snow.
I might not have any pictures from the new wintry world, except that I was helping my dad with something in the garage, and I could see through the back window a mountain ash tree that still had its berries on it. And the berries were now covered with snow, which I thought would make a very pretty picture. So when we were finished, I went back to the house to get my camera and headed out into the bush. Like usual, one picture led to another until I had built up a small collection (including one of Dragon, who followed me into the bush and then kept winding around my ankles and stretching way up onto my jacket to get petted. I finally picked him up when I was done taking pictures, but that still wasn't good enough for him--he had to climb all the way up to my shoulder and sit there!) Anyway, here are all the pictures I took yesterday. Enjoy!

Snow is so beautiful! I’m so thankful we live in a country that gets snow. It’s lovely when you get snow capped trees, leaves, and berries. Thanks for sharing your pictures, Leah.❤️
