I saved most of the best sunflower pictures I took this summer/fall, and I've been meaning to do this post for a while.
Although sunflowers aren't my top favourite flower, they're probably a close second. They have many different colour patterns and they are so bright and cheerful-looking, it's hard not to enjoy them. (And this year a few of

Every year, to me it seems like the colder it gets, the more variety we have in the sky. I've found that some of the best sunrises and sunsets occur in the winter--maybe that's just because the sun rises so late and sets so early that I'm actually awake to see them, but either way they're beautiful.
