Aside from the first picture (July 20th) and the second picture (July 22nd), all of these photos were taken in our garden on the 24th.
So first, here's a picture of our crazy cats. It was probably 30°C or higher that day, and they were both sleeping on

July is one of my favourite months of the year. It's partly because that's when my poppies start blooming. It's partly because that's when the garden starts really producing.
And that's part of what I'm going to share somewhere in this post. The first small yields from the garden; blessings Some of my poppies have opened now, and with perfect timing, because they're blooming just as my other favourite flowers - wild roses - are going out of season and dying. Actually, I think the wild roses bloomed for far longer this year than any other year I can remember, but I love them, so it was nice to have them for extra time this year!
Okay, more flower pictures! It seems like there's never an end to the different angles you can get nice pictures of flowers from, especially wildflowers.
These first seven are all from June 29th. |
