I've been meaning to post this one for a while. Back in September my grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins were visiting, and on their last night here, we were privileged to see the most beautiful and vibrant display of northern lights that I've ever seen in our area. It dumped a bunch of snow on the night of March 9th/10th, and although it all melted fairly quickly, when I first looked out the window on the morning of the 10th, there was quite a bit of snow piled up on the tree branches!

All year round, and even throughout the darkest, coldest, greyest days of winter, God splashes the sky with colours, especially in the mornings and evenings. This is a sunset from February 23rd, with the sun glinting off of the icy snow surface: |
