It dumped a bunch of snow on the night of March 9th/10th, and although it all melted fairly quickly, when I first looked out the window on the morning of the 10th, there was quite a bit of snow piled up on the tree branches! (Four from later that afternoon) I loved the way the sun was shining through some stormy-looking clouds on the evening of March 11th: Sunrise shining through the trees on March 14th: And then on March 15th, we had a female Pileated woodpecker on the log feeder, and a male Downy woodpecker on the suet feeder. There's a pretty big size difference between those two woodpeckers! Have a great weekend!

Fresh snow looks so pristine, you just want to jump into that and ruin it. Lol, Why?

The spring snow is often so beautiful because it clings to the trees more! When most people are groaning when we get the spring snows, I always feel it’s a bit of a gift. I enjoy the beauty.
