A Bit of Everything

Before I do anything else, I wanted to post some pictures of the sunset back on May 26th.  We were driving home from town, there were two or three huge storm systems around us, and in the meantime the setting sun was making for a neat sight!

And since then, I've had a number of things to snap pictures of!  First, storm clouds on May 29th and May 31st: 

Now the next several are from June 5th. Robin singing at the top of a spruce tree one morning:

Bluebells and some flowers whose names I'm not sure of:

Poor Holly, waiting for her kittens to be born and feeling the heat in the meantime.  (She had her kittens the next morning, but I don't have pictures of them yet because she has them way back underneath the shed where nobody can really see them.)

And one of my favourite flowers . . . my wild roses!  Along with the lilacs, of course.  Wild roses and lilacs seem as a pair to me because they always bloom at the same time.  (Check out how many bees are on that one lilac blossom!  There's at least four honeybees and one bumblebee.)

Then on June 9th, I was rearranging boxes in one of our storage spaces. I lost my balance and put out a hand to steady myself against one of the bare wood studs, and 

something came off of the wood in my hand.  At first I thought it was one of those fake plastic gems, and then I thought it was a pill of some kind, but then I sniffed it and it smelled like sap, so I figured it had oozed out of the wood.  I thought it looked really neat--and kind of pretty--though!

And finally, a picture I just took this morning... one of the best flowers God created, in my opinion!
